Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd was 14 when she started to take part in the sports of combat. She was a kickboxer, boxer and wrestling prior to making her first appearance in amateur competition at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was on a stunning 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In all three, she finished her opponent within the first round. In WCFC, Ladd defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking the fight to Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia gave Aspen a unanimous defeat and outclassed her to tarnish Ladd's amateur career. Ladd defeated Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff to improve her amateur record from 8-1 to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in 2015 after signing as a player with Invicta FC. Invicta 11, she was able to dominate Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta took on her in the Bantamweight division and was victorious via submission armbar during the second round. Aspen utilized the techniques she learned from wrestling to beat McGill. She ended the fight with a the TKO (3rd round) (elbows and punches). Aspen continued to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 at a catchweight at 138.1lb. Ladd was not capable of achieving the weight however Aspen took the victory and defeated Hoy via TKO. Invicta FC 21, she took her victory in the final bout of the promotion by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina, and ground-and - beat her to a TKO victory in the 2nd round. When she next faced Tonya Evinger at UFC 229, her victory was more spectacular. Ladd defeated Evinger within the first minute and earned a reward for the performance of the evening. Her first major fight came with her next bout in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Ladd, who won the unanimous decision after an intense back and forth battle between the two fighters, got an award of Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie took 16 seconds to stop Ladd and her streak. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, was defeated by Randamie. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute during her final fight against the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. She lost the fight via unanimous decision.
